My Sweepstakes City's

Holiday Gift Guide & Giveaway 2013

Disclosure: I received a product for review purposes. The opinions I have shared are honest, and my own.

I have only recently discovered the Vera Moore Cosmetics brand,  but I am pleased to  have learned more about her. A few days ago  I had the privilege of receiving a cosmetic bag full of products from Vera Moore Cosmetics. The cosmetic bag came complete with eyeshadows, lipsticks,  lip glosses ,  and lip liners. Each item was tinted with its own warm shade of purple, ready to be worn during the Fall, and Winter months.
I was immediately impressed with the packaging of  Vera Moore's products. It made me feel like I had  received makeup that was of good quality, and something I would purchase at any major department store. This is very important to me, because when I know that I am buying something of good quality  I don't mind paying a little more for it.  I also noticed how although each piece had its own individual shade, they all managed to compliment each other to give you that perfect blend.
Vera Moore Cosmetics eyeshadows, and lipsticks are pigmented, but without being too over powering. In the past while shopping in a department store I came across some lovely eyeshadows that a particular brand was advertising. The eyeshadows were so gorgeous that I decided to purchase a compact which contained four different shades. I was very excited about my purchase, but when I returned home and began to apply the eyeshadows to my eyelids I became very disappointed. The eyeshadows were so thick that even with my best efforts I could not blend them proproperly,  and they left thick clumps of on my face. Vera Moore's makeup however, goes on smoothly,  and is easy to blend.  It has just the right consistency which enables you to create fabulous new looks with ease.

  1. I like that they have a skincare chart so you can be sure to get the products that suit you and your skin the best.

  2. I learned that Camphor Masque is designed to go below surface skin to help normalize sebaccous glands activity, minimize the appearance of enlarged pores and reduce the risk of skin blemishes!

  3. I learned that The dark circles under your eyes are blood vessels made visible for a variety of reasons, a major one being the thinning of skin due to age.

  4. I learned that The dark circles under your eyes are blood vessels made visible for a variety of reasons, a major one being the thinning of skin due to age.And at 50 mine are starting to show!

  5. I learned that the Vera Moore make-up line for lips includes lip gloss, lip liner, creme lipstick and a sextette lip wheel which is a compact containing four coordinating lipshades. Thanks for the giveaway.

  6. I really thought it was great that they had products for men, this is slowly becoming the norm, but why has it taken so long….I wonder?
