Online Security Made Easy With The CUJO Smart Firewall @cujounited @BestBuy

The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.

My job is online, the teens have game systems, husband and I have cell phones… There is technology all around our house that uses the internet. Heck even my security cameras connects to WiFi. What I worry about the most is my teens being on devices and how there is content shown to them that I don’t deem appropriate for their mental level. In some of the most basic of games, I see ads and chances to watch videos that I would prefer them not to see. If I am not close or peeking over their shoulder I am not 100% sure of what all they have seen. Protecting your teens online is a hard task for parents.

CUJO comes with everything that you need to secure your online presence for the entire household. It is super easy to install and all that I can say is if I can do it, seriously anyone can! CUJO is a smart firewall for the connected home. This little guy is designed to bring business-level security to the home network which is by far my favorite feature for the CUJO. The level of security is like no other and this one device will secure all devices connecting to the WiFi router in your home. CUJO detects and blocks malicious sites, viruses, and hacks. Simply put, this is like having antivirus for your entire network. Another huge feature is that CUJO lets you control what your teens access online and keeps them safe. Oh, and no worries about CUJO slowing down your internet as it is built with 1 GB Ethernet. Check out the parental control features below.

Parental controls features:
*parental controls for all devices
*internet filter
*time limits
*social media monitoring
*pause internet function
*alerts and reporting
*remote administration
*user profiles and settings

With all the security breaches, including the most recent one with Equifax exposing personal information of 143 million consumers, can you really afford to be without a higher level of security? I think not and that is why my home and family is now protected.

Main Features:

* Business-Level Internet Security
* Guards All Devices
* Parental Controls
* Connect to Router, Control with App
* Blazing Fast (built with 1GB Ethernet)

Where to Buy:

Cujo is available at Best Buy, and retails for $250. Included with the Cujo, free firewall protection, a 3-foot Ethernet cable, AC power adapter and instructions. For more information about Cujo, visit their website, or follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Dropcam: Always Watching When Your Not

DropcamCo-founders Greg Duffy and Aamir Virani initially developed Dropcam thanks to a neighborhood menace. Greg's father desperately wanted to figure out which of the local dogs was "fertilizing" his yard. He began hooking up IP cameras, but couldn't get the system to work just right. He also found that storing video on his hard drive was not an easy, scalable or secure solution.

Back Of boxFounded in 2009 by Greg Duffy and Aamir Virani, Dropcam is revolutionizing the way people stay connected to the places they care about. With the Dropcam and Dropcam Pro Wi-Fi video monitoring cameras and optional Cloud Recording (CVR) service, you can remotely drop in on your house, baby, pets, business or anything else from a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Setting up DropcamI was able to set up my Dropcam with in a matter of 5 minutes. Yes you read that right. I installed my Dropcam one day when my family was gone and told no one about it. Later I started asking about different things that were caught with my Dropcam. My family was wondering how I was knowing about stuff that was goin on in the house when I wasn't home or when I was sleeping. Well after a few days I got busted when my son found the Dropcam box. I so love having my Dropcam because I can keep an eye on my house when I am not home. When I am home I place the Dropcam to show the front door and my driveway. By doing this I know when I get packages delivered or who is at my door. I plan on getting another Dropcam because I love the one I have.
