I have four cats and I am always looking for the next cat item to help keep my cats from scratching on my carpet on furniture. With the CarPET Scratch Stopper I found a great way to keep my cats from digging at the carpet by the cat scratcher that I already have for my cats. Since placing the CarPET Scratch Stopper in the door way the cats no longer try to dig at the carpet. I want to get one more for my bedroom door way now, For when I shut the cats out of the room.
It's kinda hard to see but this is a picture of the back of the CarPET Scratch Stopper and there is little pointy nubs that hold the CarPET Scratch Stopper in place. With these nubs the CarPET Scratch Stopper really stays in place. My four cats and dog can run over it, roll on it and even my family is constantly walking on it, The CarPET Scratch Stopper wont budge. Plus it is a fun way to play a joke on someone by having the nubs facing up and watching them jump when they step on it lol. Yah my family likes to joke around.

I really like how these protect the carpet around doorways. I have a cat who likes to pluck the carpet in that area and eat the fibers, so I could really use something like this!
