Pictures On Gold Heart Locket

cover pictureongoldWhen, I was asked by Pictures On Gold to do another review. I thought it would be a great way to show you guys how easy it is to make custom locket with pictures using, Pictures On Gold simple system. Since, I already had a beautiful locket of my own, I created the Heart Shaped Locket above as a gift for a close friend of mine within three easy steps.

Step One:

step 1I loved how I was able to chose if I wanted the from of the locket to have clipart, text or a monogram. Since, I was making this one as a Valentines gift, I selected a Love & Hearts themed clip art. PicturesOnGold,com has tons of different design to choose from and after reviewing them all, I selected the cute image on the locket in the picture above.

Step two:

step 2After selecting the design, I wanted for the front of my locket, it was time to chose two pictures to insert on the inside. I was given the option to have the pictures laser engraved in color or black and white or  have a paper photo inserted.  I wanted my friend to have a piece she could hand down to her daughter, so I selected the color laser option. Next, it was time to upload my pictures from my computer. I was surprised how simple it was to resize and fit the images directly within the PicturesonGold.com system.

Step Three:

CaptureMy Final step in creating a custom picture locket was to select the text for the back of the locket. I was giving the option to have text, monogram or leave the back side blank. My friend is a very spiritual person, so I hoped on her Facebook page, to grab one of the latest scriptures posted on her page.  I was very pleased with the amount of space and lines, I was given to print my message and I was able to chose between two font styles block or script. I was also given an option to select between two different chain styles, I selected the box chain for my locket.

Final Approval:

proofBefore I made my purchase, Pictures On Gold online system generated a digital proof of my custom locket. It included images of how all four sides would look. Once I approved the proof, I proceeded to the the checkout.

  46. I like that they’ll not just engrave the front and put a picture in, but you can get TWO pictures and have the back engraved as well!

  47. It’s a good idea that they will customize the front and back plus you can put two photos in it. This lets you really make it yours and hold people close to your heart.
