TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants, a Michigan-based family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual and fast-casual restaurants throughout the state, are offering a free meal to veterans and active military personnel at its 65 Applebee's and 60 Burger King locations throughout the state on Nov. 11.
This Veterans Day, Burger King will give a free breakfast to veterans and active military personnel from 6:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. Those eligible will receive a Burger King breakfast combo, which includes one of their featured sandwiches, hash browns, as well as a coffee, orange juice, milk or soft drink.
Additionally, TSFR's Applebee's will be offering free meals to veterans and active military personnel throughout the day. The special Veterans Day menu includes entrees, such as a 7 oz. house sirloin, American standard all-in burger, double crunch shrimp, three-cheese chicken penne, fiesta lime chicken, chicken tenders platter and oriental chicken salad.
Those eligible to receive the free meal at both Burger King and Applebee's simply need to show proof of service, such as a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, DDT214 Citation or Commendation, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, a Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a Veterans Organization Card, a photograph of he/she in military uniform or by wearing their military uniform in-restaurant.
