November’s Kids Product Roundup 2018

I get products sent to me daily to try out. I unfortunately don’t have time to do a post for each item that I get to review. So I want to make sure these items get seen and learned about. The only other solution I could see to do is to do a November’s Kids Product Roundup 2018 on the products I like and want my readers to know about. I hope you enjoy these as much as I and my other reviewers did.

I was sent Dragon Ball items for my son to collect and to enjoy. Megalopolis has a great toy selection and my son loved everything.

Megalopolis was founded in 2014 and relaunched under new management in 2018. It is currently operated by brothers Ben and Matt Westover, who collectively have almost 30 years of experience in the toy business (and even longer as collectors).

Kid powered! The Kimber Verve is a three-wheel junior kick scooter with a stable design that means easy balance for new riders. The three-position handle bar adjusts to growing children. The Verve features soft rubber hand-grips to keep little hands in place, and PU wheels for smooth scooting. Lean from side to side to change directions. Stopping is easy with the rear foot-brake. The durable steel frame supports up to 44 lbs. / 20 kg. Assembled size is approximately 9.45″ x 21.65″ x 30.32″. Adult supervision strongly recommended at all times. Ages 3 yrs to 5 yrs.

3-in-1 Cuddly Fun is a handbag, muff, and plush dog. The Reindeer/Applehead Chihuahua will help keep hands warm and comes with a shoulder strap to wear around the neck or cross body. You can even use it as a cast cover (Note: this is not a medical device.) It has two zippered utility compartments for children’s precious valuables. The zippered compartment that is in the front could be used for a bus or library pass, chapstick, pens, etc. while the one compartment in the back would be the ideal spot for lunch money, house key, cell phone, etc. The soft microfiber polyester plush is easy to wash with mild soap and water, air dry, and you can iron out any wrinkles on a delicate setting. They conform to required safety standards and have a patent pending. 3-in-1 Cuddly Fun is a memory maker and forever friend for kids. Suggested age 5 – 8.

Nest & Thread Eggs” provides the child to experience threading in different levels while playing.

Like big bubbles, these eye-catching
beads appear to float, one inside the other.
Take the string and thread through
4 beads at once, or separate the beads and string 2 or 3 together.

Bright colorful trim makes it easy to find the holes.

$20 Amazon Gift Card + Puzzle Pause Prize Pack Giveaway

Puzzles are a great way to build critical thinking and problem solving skills + they have been scientifically proven to help with overall brain health and memory. If you haven’t started working puzzles in your free time yet, I have a great excuse for you to start! There’s a new way to do puzzles out there — a puzzle book that is interactive both on and off the page! Question: Did you know that you use a different part of your brain when you are reading from book on a page vs on your electronic device? Hummmm…. I wonder if that applies to puzzle solving too?

Initiation is an interactive mystery that combines the best of paper and screen. Packed with popular puzzles, coded messages, and twists and turns around every corner, this book promises hours of fun. The book is divided into five stages. In each stage you will solve puzzles, complete activities and gather keys that will unlock secret messages on a website. As you work through the puzzles you will be gathering clues to solve your first mystery. What makes this book unique is that anyone can do it. There is no answer key in the back of the book because you will know when you solved the puzzle correctly using the key check on the website — but don’t worry, the creators are prepared to assist you if you need a little extra help along the way, or come across a puzzle you don’t know how to solve.

Initiation Book from PuzzlePause now available for preorder only on Kickstarter! #Kickstarter #Preorder

Within an hour after launch this book is already almost completely funded on Kickstarter BUT they still need your help! Stretch goals are available with backer bonuses if they are reached — yes! I love getting a little bonus, how about you? Get your Initiation book on pre-order or checkout the sample pack pledge. TIP: Everyone who pledges $15 or more will receive access to a secret area on the website called The Vault. Learn more about The Vault and the interactive puzzle book Initiation by visiting them on Kickstarter!
